FIANCIAL MANANGER/BOOKKEEPER
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business administration or finance OR six years progressive accounting experience.
- Minimum of two years of accounting experience with degree OR six years progressive accounting experience.
- Knowledge of business control systems, fiscal management, and budgeting.
- Experience with computerized accounting and spreadsheet software.
- Experience with general ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
- Experience with non-profit agencies; grant writing, grant reporting, and fundraising experience preferred.
JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare monthly fund and consolidated financial statements.
- Allocate all revenue and expenses to appropriate programs.
- Prepare all necessary financial reports or documentation for proposals with reference to governmental or other funding agencies, including the following but not limited to: grant reports, payroll reports, IRS Form 990 reports, United Way, ESC, and monthly financial reports for the FCA Finance Committee and Board of Directors
- Work closely with Finance Committee and FCA auditor in all preparation for audits, reviews, and on-site visits.
- Work with Executive Director to develop annual agency and departmental budgets, grant budgets and budget narrative, and project budgets. Maintain and reconcile all general ledger accounts.
- Oversee posting of the cash receipts; and, maintain and reconcile all cash accounts.
- Balance client accounts receivable each month. Prepare and send client account receivable statements.
- Prepare semi-monthly employee payroll.
- Maintain payroll, benefits, purchasing, and billing records.
- Handle agency accounts payable.
