Fairbanks Counseling and Adoption relies heavily on donations to keep our comprehensive services available to the public. Your tax-deductible donation is greatly appreciated.

FCA's Street Outreach Program is geared towards helping
10- to 18-year-old homeless and runaway youths. We work
with the Fairbanks community to ensure that
no one lives without adequate shelter, food or critical necessities. Our
hope
is that each youth we work with understands their
value as a human being.
Our counseling department staffs licensed, professional clinicians. We provide individual and group psychotherapy to adults, children, and families experiencing serious difficulties, problematic behaviors and/or disruptions. We also assist individuals at high risk for abuse or neglect. Providing services for children ages 3-19 who have been physically and/or sexually abused, neglected, or are at high risk for delinquent and/or self-destructive behaviors.
We provide support for families with a variety of adoption issues, including infertility issues, adoptive families of special-needs children and post-placement stability support. FCA also assists infants and young children in need of the safety and comfort of a permanent home. Thanks to donations we are able to maintain a revolving fund to help eligible clients manage fee payments, and to
ensure that all services for birth parents are provided free of charge.
FCA Building Program
Fairbanks Counseling and Adoption's building fund needs an total of $15,000 to complete several much needed facility improvements. This money will go directly towards building maintenance and repair. Painting the exterior of the building is at the top of our list. Fixing up our kitchen area with the replacement of our aging refrigerator, cupboards, range hood, double sink and stove is needed. In-kind donations are welcome (new or gently-used). Volunteers are needed to do repairs. Contact Carol at 456-4729 to see how you can help.

Our annual fundraiser consists of dinner and an oral and silent auction. If you would like to donate to help defray the costs associated with holding A Taste of Art 2011, it would be greatly appreciated!
